This Spanish Style home in Palos Verdes had major curb appeal, but was in need of a full gut renovation. Kim took on this home as her own personal project to design and curate a space that really showcased her truest personal style for her family home. Before the renovation, the home was dark, heavy, and filled with materials that made the home feel small and outdated. Kim chose materials like plaster, burnished brass, graphic marble, and architectural elements and shapes throughout the home to elevate it. Kim is a huge fan of using lighting to bring her projects to life and create atmosphere. This home is filled with vintage and bespoke lighting that fill this home with beautiful light and warmth. It is both eclectic and calming, a balance Kim strives to accomplish in all of her projects.
